Autumn in the Air.....

Well, August is moving along and I am feeling like painting some more Autumnal spindles. I wanted to share a picture of the first one which is called "Autumn Night". I really enjoy working on the black background as it gives me the opportunity to really use highlights and make the scene look very moonlit and like you could almost hear the rustling leaves and smell the woodsmoke.

Since Autumn is one of my favorite times of the year, I am going to be having fun with more designs revolving around harvest type themes. Then there will be the planning for the winter holiday spindles! I can hardly wait!
